Your Personal Profile contains basic information about you, contact address, work experience, previous educations and test scores.
We recommend you complete your Personal Profile before starting any application. The information in your Personal Profile is automatically included in any application you select so you only have to enter this information once if you are applying to more than one programme. Also, you can allow a school to review your Personal Profile before you submit the application. This might allow them to contact you should they be visiting where you live or encourage you to complete an application if you have the basic requirements they are looking for.
Go to the 'My Applications' list and click 'Start Application' in the action column. This will copy the information you have entered into your Personal Profile and combine it with the extra information you need to complete the application you have chosen. The extra information will change for each different school you apply to. This is because each school has their own application requirements.
No. Whenever you click the 'Next', 'Previous' or 'Save and Close' buttons or use the drop down list to navigate to another section of the application form the details you have entered are saved. You can sign out and sign back in at any stage to complete your application.
Where there is an essay question you can complete the essay in Microsoft Word and then attach the file to your application. This allows you to spell check your essay before submitting it.
Your references should be from people who know you well and are in a position to comment on your suitability for the programme you have chosen. The most valuable recommendations come from people who have observed your abilities in a professional or educational setting.
Remember that schools could try and contact your referees so make sure they are fully supportive of your application and agree to be contacted.
Referees should use the supplied forms to ensure a school accepts them.
The final step is to verify your form. This process can be accessed from the drop down list at the top of the screen.
You will be able to submit your application once you have verified the form and supplied all the information required. If you are not ready to submit your application once it is verified you can return to the Verify and Submit stage by using the drop down menu at the top of the screen.
Once you have completed your application form you will want to submit it to the relevant school. Once you press submit, you will be taken to a secure payment screen where you can pay the non-refundable application fee for each application.
StudyLink will check that you have completed the form correctly and in the correct format before forwarding to your school(s). However, we recommend that you check for typos and other mistakes very carefully before you agree to send it to your preferred schools. StudyLink will not check for these types of mistakes.
